Asset Limits

If I make a game, am I allowed to use any assets I rightfully own?

    I think that you should ask the judges on Slack about the rules of making a game during the hackathon. Keep Rule #5 on our Rules page in mind: All work on a project should be done at the hackathon.

    I asked out on Slack yesterday, but I haven't gotten a word back, so I'm getting kind of worried here, as my group and I lack artistic talent.

    I think you should give your message some time to be answered since the hackathon hasn't started and a lot of people have yet to join the Slack page. You should ask again during the hackathon. Also, it's okay if your team lacks artistic talent since the judges will take many other things into consideration when looking over your project.
